Term Two Kicks Off as Schools Embrace 14 Weeks of Learning and Activities

Today, April 28, marks the commencement of the second term in Kenya’s 2025 academic calendar, as outlined by the Ministry of Education. This term is set to run for 14 weeks, concluding on August 1, 2025. A half-term break is scheduled from June 25 to June 29, providing students and educators with a brief respite before resuming their studies.

The second term is anticipated to be a vibrant period, filled with academic rigor and a plethora of co-curricular activities. Schools are expected to engage students in various disciplines, fostering a holistic educational experience.

As the term progresses, students will also be preparing for the upcoming national examinations scheduled for the third term, ensuring a seamless transition into the final phase of the academic year.
