New Diplomats Set for Success as Foreign Service Academy Launches Two-Week Induction Course

The Foreign Service Academy (FSA) has commenced a two-week induction course for newly appointed Ambassadors, Consul-Generals, and senior government officials. This training is designed to prepare them for their upcoming assignments in various diplomatic missions abroad.

The induction program aims to equip these officials with essential skills and knowledge to effectively represent Kenya’s interests on the international stage. The curriculum includes modules on international law, diplomatic protocols, and the intricacies of global governance.

This initiative underscores the FSA’s commitment to enhancing the capacity of Kenya’s diplomatic corps, ensuring that officials are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of international relations. By providing comprehensive training, the Academy plays a pivotal role in strengthening Kenya’s diplomatic engagements worldwide.

The induction course is expected to conclude in early March, after which the trained officials will proceed to their respective diplomatic postings. This strategic preparation is anticipated to bolster Kenya’s diplomatic presence and effectiveness in the global arena.
