Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has officially launched the inaugural Kwale Beach Soccer League, aiming to promote and develop beach soccer in the coastal region. The league features 16 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams, all drawn from Kwale County, with matches scheduled to run weekly until mid-August.

In a significant development, Kentaste Products has come on board as the official title sponsor, rebranding the competition as the Kentaste-FKF Kwale Beach Soccer League. The partnership was unveiled at a launch event held on Saturday, May 11, 2025, at Kongo Beaches in Diani.

This initiative is part of FKF’s broader strategy to enhance the visibility and growth of beach soccer in Kenya, providing a platform for local talent to showcase their skills and gain exposure. The league’s establishment is expected to contribute to the development of the sport and inspire youth participation in beach soccer across the country.
