Kenya Cane’s True Kenyan Fest took Meru by storm this past weekend, delivering an electrifying blend of music, culture, and community at Terah’s Club in Makutano. The event, which drew hundreds of enthusiastic revelers, celebrated Kenyan unity and cultural pride in an evening full of unforgettable performances and experiences.
The festival, which kicked off at 2 PM, featured a star-studded lineup of top Kenyan talent, with performances from the C.O.G Stars Band, Meru’s own Kamanu, and popular acts like Wanjine, Joyce Wa Mama, and Nassizu Murume. Fans were treated to a mix of benga, afro-pop, and contemporary sounds, showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of Kenya’s music scene.


Dynamic hosting by MCs Nadia Mukiri and Eddu B kept the crowd engaged, while DJs Abdalla, Slim Mzuka, and Super Gibz ensured the music kept flowing all night long.
