Tusker FC Faces Setback as Star Striker Undergoes Knee Surgery

Tusker FC’s title aspirations have taken a hit with the news that their top scorer, Ryan Ogam, has undergone knee surgery, sidelining him for an extended period. Ogam, who has been instrumental in Tusker’s attacking lineup, has not featured since the 1-1 draw against Shabana on February 26. Despite his absence, hopes were high for his return in the match against Posta Rangers before the international break. However, those hopes were dashed when it was revealed that Ogam underwent surgery to address a meniscus tear in his knee. Tusker FC expressed their support, stating, “Wishing a quick recovery to our top scorer Ryan Wesley Ogam who has undergone a minor procedure for a meniscus tear. Quick recovery Rayo, we can’t wait to have you back!”

The timing of Ogam’s injury is particularly challenging for Tusker FC, as they are currently engaged in a tight race at the top of the FKF Premier League. With nine games remaining, his absence could significantly impact the team’s attacking options and overall performance. Ogam’s recovery is expected to take between four to six weeks, placing his return towards the end of the season.
