A tragic road accident occurred on the Londiani-Muhoroni road yesternight , resulting in four fatalities and 56 injuries. The collision involved a passenger bus en route to Nairobi and a truck headed towards Muhoroni. The impact caused the bus to veer off the road into a sugarcane farm.

The deceased include one male passenger and three females, all of whom died at the scene. The injured were transported to St. Vincent Mission Hospital, Koru Mission Hospital, and Muhoroni Subcounty Hospital for medical treatment. Four critically injured individuals were later transferred to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu for specialized care.
