NCBA is once again opening the doors of opportunity with the launch of its third Go Getter Internship Programme, a bold initiative aimed at shaping the next wave of corporate trailblazers. Fifty ambitious university graduates are set to begin a transformative 9-month journey designed to turn potential into performance.
Following the successful graduation of 50 interns in December last year, this year’s cohort will dive into the fast-paced world of banking, gaining real-world skills, mentorship from industry leaders, and a shot at joining NCBA’s elite talent pipeline.

“At NCBA, we believe in investing in the next generation of professionals by providing them with a platform to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions to the industry,” said Group Managing Director John Gachora. “The Go Getter Internship Programme is more than just training—it’s a launchpad for future leaders.”

With an ambitious goal to retain 94% of the cohort, NCBA is turning internships into careers, integrating young talent into its 2,000+ strong workforce. Interns will be immersed in the inner workings of one of East Africa’s leading banks, sharpened by coaching, and empowered by purpose-driven projects aligned with the bank’s Education Citizenship Agenda.

Applications for the program are highly competitive. Candidates must have graduated within the last 12 months, earned at least a Second-Class Upper Division, and secured a B- or higher in both Mathematics and English in their KCSE exams.

As the 2025 class kicks off, NCBA reaffirms its commitment to building a workplace where talent is nurtured, voices are heard, and futures are forged.
