The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially released the timetable for the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, scheduled to commence on October 21, 2025.

Key Dates:

• October 17, 2025: Rehearsals begin.
• October 21-26, 2025: Oral examinations for languages such as French, German, Kenyan Sign Language, Music, and Arabic.
• October 27-31, 2025: Practical exams for subjects including Home Science, Art and Design, Woodwork, and Metalwork.
• November 3-21, 2025: Theory papers, starting with English and Chemistry on November 3.

KNEC has emphasized the importance of adhering to examination regulations, warning that any misconduct or disturbances in or near examination rooms will be treated as irregularities.
