Erik Ten Hag will remain Manchester United’s manager following a post-season evaluation by the club’s board.
It is known that they are now in talks with Ten Hag about extending his contract, which is coming to the conclusion.
United initiated their assessment immediately following the FA Cup final. Ten Hag went into the game against Manchester City at Wembley Stadium with reports circulating that he would be fired regardless of the outcome.
Instead, United’s deserved 2-1 triumph allowed the club’s leadership to approach the assessment more positively.

In his inaugural season, he guided the club to third place in the Premier League, as well as the EFL Cup and FA Cup finals.
He won his first title as United manager in February 2023, when the Red Devils defeated Newcastle to win the EFL Cup, but they were defeated by Manchester City in the FA Cup final three months later.
The 2023-24 season proved more difficult, culminating in an early elimination from the Champions League after placing last in their group.
