Mozzart Bet Cup Round of 32 Draw Sets Stage for Giant Clashes and Potential Upsets

The Mozzart Bet Cup journey gathered fresh momentum this morning after the Round of 32 draw was conducted at the Kasarani Conference Room at Kasarani Stadium.

Following a dramatic Round of 64 that produced shocks and breakout performances, the competition now moves into a decisive phase, with knockout fixtures scheduled for the weekend of March 7th and 8th.

Among the headline encounters, Gor Mahia FC will face BB Bread in a fixture layered with intrigue. BB Bread stunned AFC Leopards in the previous round, eliminating one of the country’s traditional heavyweights. Having already claimed a major scalp, the question now arises are they emerging as this season’s giant killers? Their next assignment, however, may prove even tougher. They face a Gor Mahia side that fell short in last season’s final and appears determined to correct that mistake and go all the way this time.

Another standout clash sees Tusker FC drawn against fellow top-flight side Bidco United in an all-Sportpesa League showdown that guarantees at least one established name will exit early.

Kariobangi Sharks are set to take on KU Hardnuts ; an institutional side representing Kenyatta University. The student team continues to embody the spirit of opportunity that defines knockout football, where structured programmes and youthful ambition collide with top-tier experience. Their presence adds a unique academic flavour to the competition and reinforces the cup’s inclusive character.

Kakamega Homeboyz will battle Kipchimchim in a tie that offers little room for error, while Shabana FC face Muhoroni Youth in another contest expected to draw significant local interest.

Elsewhere, Bandari FC meet Bumbani Stars, Ulinzi Stars FC take on Zoo FC in a test of discipline versus ambition, Murang’a Seal face FC Dynamo, and KCB FC square off with Zetech University another institutional outfit eager to prove its competitive credentials.

Kenya Police FC will play TBM Health FC, while Posta Rangers clash with Oinopsis as they aim to extend their cup campaign.

The round also features matchups involving Kuta Collection FC and KSG Ogopa FC, 3K FC against Denmark, Chebaiywa Lions versus Gucha Youth FC, and Mfalme FC taking on Wisa FC. Nairobi United (L-15) face BMC Allstars in yet another tie that reflects the unpredictability that has become synonymous with this tournament.
