Several parts of the country are expected to experience increased rainfall this week, the Kenya Meteorological Department has said.
This is according to the latest weather forecast for October 21 to October 27, 2025.
According to the forecast, rainfall is likely over the Central Highlands (including Nairobi), the Lake Victoria Basin, Western Kenya, the South-eastern Lowlands, the Rift Valley and parts of North-western Kenya.
“Isolated heavy rainfall events may occur over some parts of these regions,” the department warned.
Kenya Met advised residents to remain alert and take necessary precautions to avoid potential weather-related risks such as flooding or reduced visibility.
At the same time, daytime temperatures above 30°C are expected in the Coastal, North-eastern and North-western regions.
In contrast, night-time temperatures below 10°C may occur in parts of the Central Highlands, the Central Rift Valley and areas near Mt Kilimanjaro.
The weatherman urged the public to stay updated on daily forecasts and take appropriate measures, especially in areas prone to extreme weather conditions.
