The FKF Mozzart Bet Cup officially kicked off its 2026 edition with the tournament launch Today and Round of 64 draw held at Glee Hotel, setting the stage for another high-stakes knockout campaign in Kenyan football. The launch also confirmed Mozzart Bet’s extended commitment to the competition after signing a new three-year sponsorship deal worth Ksh 90 million, translating to Ksh 30 million per season.

Defending champions Nairobi United return as the benchmark after a historic triumph last season, achieved while the club was still competing in the National Super League. Their unlikely run captured the essence of the Mozzart Bet Cup, where lower-tier sides are afforded a genuine chance to challenge established top-flight opposition. Beyond the significant financial incentives on offer, the competition carries even greater weight, with the winner earning the right to represent Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup during the 2026/27 season.
Speaking during the launch, Mozzart Bet Director Rolex Sirma announced the introduction of individual cash awards aimed at rewarding outstanding performances and raising competitiveness across the tournament. The Golden Boot and Golden Glove winners will each receive Ksh 150,000, while the Most Promising Young Player will take home Ksh 100,000. Excellence in other areas will also be recognised, with the Best Defender and Best Midfielder each earning Ksh 150,000. The tournament’s Most Valuable Player will be awarded Ksh 200,000, while every Man of the Match from the quarterfinal stage onwards will receive Ksh 100,000.
The prize money structure for teams remains among the most attractive in domestic football. The champions will pocket Ksh 3 million, the runners-up will earn Ksh 2 million, third place is valued at Ksh 1.5 million, while the fourth-placed team will receive Ksh 1 million.
