AFC Leopards Held by Ulinzi Stars as Winless Streak Stretches to Seven Matches

Wednesday’s goalless draw against Ulinzi Stars at Dandora Stadium extended AFC Leopards’ FKF Premier League losing streak to seven games.

With the draw, Ingwe lost more ground in the race for the championship, now sitting seventh with 38 points, 13 points behind toppers Tusker FC after 27 matches.

Leopards have drawn five games and lost two against Sofapaka, Gor Mahia, Kenya Police, Ulinzi Stars, and Shabana 1-1 in their previous seven league games.

Their latest victory dates back to mid-February, when they defeated Mara Sugar by a slim margin of 2-1.

After losing 2-1 to Kakamega Homeboyz the weekend before, Leopards lost 1-0 to Posta Rangers last weekend.

Ulinzi, who defeated Kenya Police 1-0 last week to end their five-game losing crash, are currently in 12th place with 32 points, five points above the danger zone.

In the meantime, Nairobi United defeated Migori Youth 1-0 at Migori Stadium to increase their lead at the top of the National Super League (NSL).

Nairobi United led the NSL standings with 56 points after Michael Karamor’s crucial goal in the 70th minute helped them establish a four-point margin.
