President William Ruto on Wednesday hosted a breakfast meeting at State House, Nairobi, bringing together the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and private sector stakeholders to discuss the future of sports in the country.
The meeting provided a platform to deliberate on strategies to strengthen football and other sports disciplines, with emphasis on how the private sector can play a greater role in boosting investment and development.
Among those in attendance were FKF officials, representatives from continental football governing bodies, media stakeholders, and key players from the private sector.
The discussions focused on forging stronger partnerships to elevate sports in Kenya, improve infrastructure, and create more opportunities for young talent across the country.
