Tusker FC has kicked off what appears to be a major squad overhaul ahead of the new season, announcing the departure of nine players following the expiry of their contracts. The club confirmed that John Byamukama, James Kibande, Luke Namanda, David Odoyo, Boban Zirintusa, Deogratious Ojok, Mike Oduor, and Lawrence Luvanda will all leave the club. Additionally, Yussuf Mainge, who had been on loan from Police FC, will also exit following the completion of his season-long spell.
The mass exodus signals a transitional phase for the Brewers, who are expected to make key adjustments as they look to rebuild and remain competitive in the FKF Premier League.
In a show of faith in their development system, Tusker has promoted two players from their youth ranks ; David Polepole and George Odhiambo to the senior team. The pair will be hoping to seize the opportunity and establish themselves at the top level.

The club has also moved swiftly in the transfer market, confirming the signing of midfielder Vincent Otieno from Nairobi City Stars. Otieno’s arrival is expected to add depth and energy to the midfield as Tusker begins to reassemble its squad.

More signings are expected in the coming weeks as the club prepares for the new season with a refreshed look and renewed ambition.
