Super Petrol and Diesel Prices Drop by Ksh.7 and Ksh.5, Providing Relief to Motorists

In its most recent monthly pricing review, the Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) declared that Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene prices will be reduced.

According to a statement made on Thursday, super petrol prices would fall by Ksh.7.21, diesel by Ksh.5.09, and kerosene by Ksh.4.49.

Following the review, a litre of petrol in Nairobi would cost Ksh.199.15, diesel Ksh.190.38, and kerosene Ksh.188.74.

The revised pricing are effective from midnight on March 15th until April 14th, 2024.

“The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020,” said EPRA in the statement.
