Boomplay successfully launched the maiden edition of its music festival asset for Africa on Saturday 6th April 2024, tagged BoomFest, in Kenya.
After months of generating buzz and rallying stakeholders of the Kenyan music industry together to forge unity, growth and development of the music industry, music fans who trooped to the A.S.K Dome in Nairobi anticipating a spectacular night of fun and a celebration of Kenyan music celebration had their expectations met and more.

Amidst the fanfare on the night, steered by the pulsating sets from DJ Lyta and DJ JR and viral dance routines by revellers to hype from MCs, Mwalimu Rachel and Xclusive, and sponsor activations and fan engagements, BoomFest 2024 was an electrifying celebration of Kenyan music.
The unforgettable night was graced by over 13 Kenyan artists including Khaligraph Jones, Willy Paul, Boutross, Femi One, Fathermoh, Wakadinali, Vijana Barubaru, Bahati, Arrow Bwoy, Ssaru, Buruklyn Boyz and Nameless, who displayed diverse musical styles and artistry synonymous with the Kenya music scene. The appearance of the wives of Nameless and Bahati on stage when they performed heightened the euphoria that filled the dome as well as the surprise performances from Teslah, Ndovu Kuu and Lil Maina.
