Koffi Olomide has arrived in the country for Radio Africa Events’ peace concert.

Speaking on Wednesday at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) Koffi, the master of rhumba and soukous expressed his gratitude for the chance to return to Kenya and perform.

“I am more than excited, and I can’t wait to be on stage and perform for the people of Kenya. I am very very happy to be here,” he said. 

“I want to say thank you to the government and the people of Kenya as a whole, and feels good to be back and happy that they understand me.”

Koffi went on to say that his supporters could anticipate a spectacular performance and that he was prepared to wow his beloved fans.

“This is also my country, part of my life is also in Kenya, I would like to tell my fans to advocate for peace and love,” he said. 

On December 9, 2023, Koffi and other artists will take the stage at the ASK Dome, Showground.
