Pump prices for super petrol, diesel and kerosene have been reduced following the latest monthly review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

In the new pricing cycle, EPRA cut the price of super petrol by Sh2 per litre, while diesel and kerosene prices were each reduced by Sh1 per litre.

In Nairobi, a litre of super petrol will now retail at Sh182.52, diesel at Sh170.47, and kerosene at Sh153.78.
Motorists in Mombasa will pay Sh180.24 for super petrol, Sh167.19 for diesel and Sh150.49 for kerosene.

EPRA said the prices include the 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and revised excise duty rates adjusted for inflation under Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.

The regulator attributed the reduction to a decline in the average landed cost of imported fuel products. According to EPRA, the landed cost of super petrol dropped slightly by 0.10 per cent, from USD 592.84 per cubic metre in November 2025 to USD 592.24 per cubic metre in December 2025.

Diesel recorded a sharper decline of 4.20 per cent, falling from USD 654.24 to USD 626.75 per cubic metre, while kerosene saw an 8.92 per cent decrease from USD 667.05 to USD 607.55 per cubic metre over the same period.

The revised prices will remain in effect until the next EPRA review scheduled for February 14, 2026.
