Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has named a 30-man provisional squad for the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN), as Kenya steps up preparations for the regional football spectacle co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from 2nd to 30th August 2025.

The announcement comes just days after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the official tournament schedule, bringing the continental spotlight firmly on East Africa. With the tournament exclusively featuring players active in their domestic leagues, McCarthy has cast his net wide across the Kenyan Premier League, selecting a balanced blend of rising talents and proven performers from clubs such as Gor Mahia, Bandari, Tusker, Police FC, and Ulinzi Stars.
